I read Wake by Lisa McMann

And now I can't stop. Thinking, in short sentences. Or reading sentences like William Shatner.

Seriously, I don't, understand. This was published. And now, it's getting, an award. Yes, it was interesting conceptually.

It is about a girl who can see into people's dreams. Like if someone falls asleep and starts dreaming, she gets sucked into the ensuing nightmare/fantasy whatever. It's actually a creepy concept she pulls off, but at the end my brain felt numb.

Yes, what is this book about?
William Shatner + Christopher Walken poured over a YA novel = FOR CHRISTS SAKE!

A girl can see into people's dreams. She gets sucked into nightmares, fantasies, if someone falls asleep around her. And then she fights crime.

Like, it was an interesting concept, but it made my head hurt by the end. And that's the exact opposite of how I'm supposed to feel after reading a cheesy YA novel, dammit.

Haha wth?
I tried to get True Blood but apparently there are two authors who wrote book/s with that name. And none of them were found at Books-a-million yesterday.

They are not called True Blood, dork. They are the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The first one is called Dead Until Dark :)

Ilu though. Even if you are silly.
