These are short little random bits from the next project I intend to focus on after my BigBang is finished. These bits probably won't make it into the final fic as they are now, since I wrote them as they are to sort of stand alone... Idk how you intend to end the story, but I say go for extra angst if they will finally be able to touch at some point.

Also, this sounds awesome.

I love these snippets though I'm unclear how Castiel helps Dean fight the monsters. Does he become corporeal to fight them or just use the Jedi, er, angel mind tricks to bash them about. Can Cas make himself be seen by others? I ask because, for me, it would affect how/when Dean and Cas would be able to touch and yeah, again for me, no matter what happens during the story, they would get to touch at the end because I like stories to have 'happy' endings.

That's why I'm not sure whether to make Cas corporeal for Dean or not. The monsters. I suppose I could say he can touch monsters, as it's part of protecting Dean and helping him keep the monster population in check.

As for being seen by others: if he could, it would only be at the cost of a LOT of energy, and it would probably leave him vulnerable afterwards... So IF he could it wouldn't be something he'd want to do a lot.

Oh, I already have the ending planned, and touching is involved. I'm just sort of torn on the rest, because on one hand, them not being able to touch through the rest of it (except maybe in dreams) would make the ending a lot more poignant... On the other, it forces me to have to come up with loopholes as for why he can fight monsters...

Oh what an interesting premise. I'd say it makes sense he could fight supernatural beings since he is a supernatural being himself. *shrug* I don't think you need a big explanation on that point, but that's just me. The scary thing would be he wouldn't be able to protect Dean against normal everyday people. I also am very fascinated by the idea that they can't touch throughout the story. I'm kinda a sucker for lots of UST if you hadn't noticed.

Also, you might laugh but my first thought when hearing imaginary friend is always "Drop Dead Fred" lol!! Sorry can't help it, I grew up on that movie. =D

The snapshots here are great. I especially love the one with Sam and talking about the monster under the bed. Made me LOL so I hope that one stays just as it is.

As for a title? I have no clue what to suggest, I always just steal titles for my art/vid projects from song lyrics and poems.

Yeah, that's pretty much the conclusion I came to after a little while. He can touch monsters because in a way, he is one. But you pointing out that he can't protect Dean from every day people has given me a delicious, terrible, wonderful idea... stop it brain, stop it. We agreed; big bang first

Hahaha, I was hoping that the monster under Sam's bed would be amusing (the idea of a gremlin living under Sam's bed, eating all his socks- Sam usually accused Dean of stealing them- and maybe the occasional sneaker made me laugh, so I had to include it XD)

Oh, god, I know about the titles. Empire's was actually a suggestion by a friend, from a poem XD I usually pick titles from songs I think fit the fic, but IDK, I don't really have anything for this one XD

Loving these little snippets. I like how he's invisible and always just there even when Dean doesn't want him there.

This comment is a million years late but I just wanted to say that I COMPLETELY LOVE THIS AS THIS IS AMAZING and I am so excited for the full version, whenever it'll come out.

I also vote for them not being able to touch, and Cas only being able to touch other supernatural creatures until ~something happens~ because yearning/longing UST is my favorite thing in the whole world. xD
