Bank holiday Mondays are lovely. Even better when preceded by a day off on the Friday. Really needed the extra long weekend, quite sorry to be going back to work tomorrow but I'm sure it'll be fine. erm, but I thought you'd sent out invitations already? Am I missing something?

Also, just trying to picture you gardening........

We sent out our family invitations and those to the people we had to invite (bridesmaids and the like). These were the invitations to those people we want to come but weren't sure how many we could squeeze into the day until we knew how many of the families weren't coming. It's all very complicated!

Not so much gardening, but hacking things down and looking puzzled whilst trying to decide whether what I'm about to hack down is a plant or a weed.

I have no idea when it comes to gardens, but ours is starting to look quite pretty now.
