Oh it's right here, right where I left nearly all of my fannish pursuits. ;___________;

Urgh, last night I went home, made dinner, went over to see Kate, then went straight from Kate's to see David, then came home at 10:30 and was in bed by 11:30. It was so good to see them, and I wanted to see them but I also need a time turner so I can go back and spend the evening alone, too.

Tonight I am planning on skating and then going home for all of the writing time. We shall see!

I regularly ignore e-mails from my mother, but she regularly ignores things I say to her, so I feel like it's fair trade.

My boyfriend works for the Lieutenant Governor in the budget office. He is fiscally conservative but otherwise liberal. We had a long talk about abortion once and I was not offended by a single thing he said. He supports thorough STD testing. He prefers paninis to hamburgers because he likes a squished down sandwich as opposed to towering ones. I don't know what SB 1070 is, will you enlighten me ( ... )

but what if it's HIV testing that they do EVERY TIME they draw blood unless you read all the fine print on your doctor paperwork and explicitly opt-out of it?

SB 1070 is that Arizona anti-immigration law that was like "brown people need to carry around proof of citizenship or we're going to deport them" (and sometimes even then). There are going to be some look-alikes in Texas this session.

SOMEONE AT WORK MADE THIS JOKE. Tell David, he will like it: Maybe the Texas legislature should meet every 140 years for 2 days instead.

Oh, I don't know his thoughts on that type of HIV testing. At any rate, he has no ability to affect that policy unless he advocates to cut the funding for mandatory HIV testing to the point where they decide, "Ah, screw it, let's make it easier to opt out." He remains not evil ( ... )

I feel that there is a LOT TO ENJOY about the Tron movies. There's a lot of costume going on. And 80s. And Jeff Bridges looks like he can barely believe he agreed to be in the first one. The old one is available on YouTube. And there's a lot of gay, het, and threesomes to be had. MAYBE I SHOULD DO ANOTHER PICSPAM?

PS- Do you have any opinions about a US Nats not featuring Johnny?

I'm downloading the old one now, and I've downloaded a lot of things that I still haven't watched so this may or may not lead to actual seeing of this movie but at least I'm getting one step closer!

P.S. I really don't. Now that all my favorites are retired, I still don't have new favorites yet. (Except maybe Daisuke when he's on his game.) I like Mirai and Adam, both of them have that lyrical quality to their skating that I enjoy the most (and I think they're both adorbs) so that's who I'm rooting for. But honestly I'm pretty "meh" about the whole thing.

I am intrigued by the nutella+saltines combo! I've had it on sandwiches of course, and straight up no chaser, but not in the company of salt. HMM.

I miss you at L_d, but real life definitely comes first- like your family, skating and writing. I'm sorry your job is hell. Start sending out applications and you never knowo what will pop up! Good luck.

I knowwwwwww! I still love M. Lambiel, don't worry. I doubt I'll be able to stay away for very long when he's debuting new programs and skating in new shows. I wish I knew there was an opportunity to see him skate in the US coming up. Even if it were 10 months from now it would be nice!
