Do I even have to make apologies?

For not posting for a month? Are you surprised? I'm not. Curse you tumblr. (But on that same note, I love you, tumblr.)

5 Things you need to know:1. The boy and I have been living together for a month now, and it's still awesome. Monday when he came home, we just lay in bed and talked for an hour before getting up to make dinner. It was hella ( Read more... )

I walked out of this movie kind of "meh" and an hour later I was like, "I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING

I love/hate when this happens ;__;

UH SHERLOCK IS. WELL I LIKED THE FIRST EPISODE. And then the second episode happened.

Damn. Did I speak too soon about Sherlock? What about Moriarty? The stuff on tumblr makes him seem kind of fun? SIGH.

I love/hate the phenomena too. I feel like I've lost my mind. But I'm having a ball with it? So that's good.

I didn't really get into it, but I think it's fairly universally agreed the second episode is balls, haha. The third seems to make up for it though! The first and third were written by Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatiss, whom I adore, and the second was written by....eh some guy. SO.

Pretty much exactly this happened with me and First Class! I liked it and had some feelings watching it and got a bit bored when it went on and on and then I came home and WANTED TO ROLL AROUND AND SMOTHER MYSELF ALL OVER WITH EMOTIONS.

I will switch up the order then! Because the first one was pretty aces. Hm.

I WAS SO BORED IN THE MIDDLE OF THOR, holy god. And there were some really painful acting choices and I made both Liz and my boyfriend laugh by being like, "Eh" when they were both pretty positive.

I think my heart eyes might be bigger for X-men, especially if it's as almost makeout city as you and Liz tell me it is. I look forward to rolling around with youuuuuu. PS I LOVE YOUR ART FROM TODAY.

I MIGHT BE WRITING FIC ABOUT IT.

THIS IS VERY EXCITING TO ME! I was totally into Thor fic for about a week. Haha. And I read several very awesome things, but I had kind of been hoping for more brother stuff and less MPREG from that fandom. (Even though I read several VERY good MPREG fics that I liked super much! I'm just saying... Lots and lots of MPREG is not really what I look for in a fandom generally.)

In other news. Hiiiiii! Congrats on your raise and your awesome boy!

LOL, I would be like, WTF mpreg, but since it's canon I'm going to have to accept it as a bygone conclusion in this fandom. But whatever! The point is that the whole movie was basically, "WHY DOESN'T MY BROTHER LOVE ME ENOUGH TO ___________." I also just realized that I REALLY LIKE WRITING TONY STARK. Who knew?

And hiiiiiiiii! I wrote you bad Johnny/Stephane. Did you see?

LOL. Yes, Norse mythology definitely throws the door open on MPREG and gender swap and I don't blame people for taking advantage of that at all. But I pretty much just want Loki loving Thor so much he has to kill things. Tony Stark!!!!! Is the most amazing. I think I would read Tony Stark/Anyone Ever in Any Fandom because Tony Stark makes any possible pairing awesome and hilarious.

NO!!!! I didn't see! OMG. I didn't keep up with LJ at all while I was in Scandinavia. BRB going to read now!

Haha, well I still definitely blame people for doing it. But at least basis in canon means I can't accuse them of bringing MPREG on purpose. Luckily, though, I don't mind the gender swap when it doesn't come with babies attached.

I pretty much just want Loki loving Thor so much he has to kill things.

Actual plot of the movie. I loved the line where he was like, "I don't even want to be king, I just want to be your equal!" Amazing.

Tony Stark! I knew I enjoyed him in the movies, but I was content to ship him with Pepper until I realized that very soon he would be surrounded by all these attractive Avenger men and my crocodile slasher brain was like, "YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING WITH THIS!" Now I'm in love and I want all of the slash, but I don't even know where to start!

And Scandinavia! Amazing! Did you have a wonderful time?

Oh hun, it never stops being cute when the other half kind of teases you about fannishness. Although the other day I was telling the NK about bad River/Jayne Firefly fanfic and he actually started composing dialogue on the fly.... and it was good. It's like realizing your kids have actually been listening to you all these years!

BTW hi! So glad you're liking the simultaneously "domestic" and "mmm nice :D" of domestic bliss.

Haha, right now it still kind of gives me heart attacks. Because he likes X-men and the Avengers! And it was one thing when I could kind of be like, "You don't know anything about skating, shut up" but it feels a little different being like, "I'm making your figures from your childhood kiss!" I'm sure I'll get more comfortable with it, but yikes!

(Awwwwwwww! Your boy is so cute!)

I'm amazed that I didn't even have to get talked it into. I just kind of talked myself into it during a ten minute phone conversation with you.

I AM ENJOYING CATERING TO YOU.

I LOVE YOUR ICON. I need to find something Avenger-esque to use.

X-meeeeeeeeen. I can't believe I haven't seen it yet.

1) Thor: Tess and I walked out of Thor going "I bet Candy La Rue's fave character is going to be Loki." LOOKS LIKE WE WERE RIGHT. Anyway, I KNEW YOU'D LOVE THAT MOVIE. I didn't say it to you, of course, BUT I THOUGHT IT. I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU'RE WRITING RIGHT NOW.

2) Sherlock: SQUEEEEE. I don't know why I didn't mention this, but I watched all three eps and the unaired pilot (which is actually a little gayer than the real pilot, if that's possible). Looooved them. I don't know about the slash between them, because I don't really know that anyone could write Sherlock in a way that I'd find remotely believable (I've looked, so far no one has). But still, that show is almost slashy enough as it is.

3) Skating. Meh. :p

I feel that we owe each other a phone call about two of these wonderful things on your list.

1) LOL, I don't think I would even BE Candy La Rue if Loki wasn't my favorite character. Who would I be if I didn't love the slim, dark haired weirdo that needs a hug? Also I have 5k of a really weird prompt on the norsekink meme that is Thor/Loki, and Iron Man/Captain America. (What? IDK.) But it's funny. And weird. And I'm sending it to you right now.

2) I haven't watched the other two episodes yet, but I am afraid NOTHING could ever be as blatant as that first episode. THEY GIGGLE BREATHLESSLY together at one point. I was amazed.

3) Skating is amazing.

I feel we might indeed. :)

1) IT'S SO VERY TRUE, RIGHT? Tess is very much pro-Thor, and I am very torn between Thor and Loki, mostly because I thought Tom Hiddleston basically ate all the scenery in any scene he was in. He was really very awesome, even if a lot of the rest of it wasn't. (I actually really liked it, though.) ANYWAY. CAN'T WAIT TO READ.

2.) Yes, giggling breathlessly. But the unaired pilot has Sherlock getting drugged and dragged into the car with the cabbie outside the restaurant, and Watson forgetting he has a limp in order to run after Sherlock and attempt to save his life. So. Mostly I dearly love that his overwhelming concern/INTENSE LOVE for Sherlock heals his wounds. :))))

3) I'll take your word for it.

1) I liked Thor the best when he was striding around Earth being loud and kind of a douche. Like the diner scene with the smashed coffee cup, and demanding a pet store give him a horse, or barring that, a cat big enough to ride. When he was doing that, I was love. (And when he was like, "Loki, you've fucked up super big, but I still love you, don't let goooooooooo!") But I really didn't like the romance storyline, or the "I'm going to flip this table because I'm sort of mad" storyline.

2) I really can't wait for the episode that has the scene that everyone always gleefully reblogs on tumblr. Because I am a sucker for the guy who claims to have no feelings but then is suddenly frantic because his previously unrealized) beloved is threatened.

3) You do that.
