Yesterday I got my shiny purple flowery laptop from Dell and I freaking love it. I feel bad for neglecting my desktop computer but it's hard to resist the thrill of novelty. Shiiiiiinnnnyyyy!
Can you use a laptop all of the time, like you'd use a desktop computer, or will they a-splode faster that way?

It depends on how you're using it and what you're using it for. You can use it constantly with no problem as long as you're treating it carefully. When you are using it for long periods of time, you want to use your power cord or else your battery is going to go kaput really fast from being run down all the time.

Of course, I've never had a laptop, so this is trickle down information from my resident tech guru. :)
