It would! I like the "dream surfing" theory the best, at least as a story idea. I don't want it to be true.

I kind of like the idea that it's how God chooses to have people see him in this day and age. Given the fact that God has chosen the form of a monkey with a unibrow, it's compelling evidence that God has gone mad. And maybe the people he shows himself to in dreams are the ones that he's trying to get to follow him into a realm of madness. Or something like that.
