I am seriously looking forward to Thanksgiving, for it will involve this, plus extra bacon to ensure structural stability! I'm also going to be making my first pie crust (god help us all D:) for an apple raisin rum pie. Then there will be white chocolate sweet potato cake, macaroni and cheese, molasses biscuits and, uhm, probably some other stuff. ( Read more... )

MMMmmmmmm~ Sounds yummy! I am making a pie from scratch for the first time too! Our friend is bringing over some mead he made, but I'm not too excited because the alcohol he's brewed so far always tasted gross :( That vanilla cinnamon mead sounds good though!
