I might be reading between the lines, but it seems you're being too trusting...too gullible. Sometimes, the less a person says 'I Love You" the more it means to him and probably you, then again maybe not, I'm no Dr. Phil (hold for laughing). No matter what people say, it's all face value until it's shown. Trust is a good thing to have but it also has to be earned! Men, women, alike lie and it's the very few fortunate ones that find someone genuine. I'm sure you need to keep looking but up your strategy lady. BE SMARTER THAN VACUOUS SWEET NOTHINGS! It probably is

all you can do,is check them out throughly as best you can,before getting in too deep

even then there are those that are very good at lying and covering their tracks
you can only do your best and watch out and hope for the best
