I AM A REGISTERED NURSE.
As of today, I found out that I passed the NCLEX! I can't believe it. I've finally passed this crazy hurdle that is the nurse licensing process. A robotic voice telling me that my licensee status is "current active," issued on Sept. 10th, 2009, never sounded so beautiful. Haha. I can't wait to get my license number in a couple of days! -

I got a job!
I'm going to be working at Crestwood Pediatrics after all! Haha. I'm happy because it's a job and I'm working as a nurse with children. I would have preferred a hospital position, but I think this will still be good experience, and hospital jobs are currently pretty tough to come by ( Read more... ) -

This is a tip from a weekly health savvy email I get from the Washington Post. I can't say how important the issue of salt is in your diet. I would even add that the 2,000-4,000 mg daily intake that they say is recommended is still too high. One should really aim for 1, 500 mg daily. That's still a shitload.
