If I ever get diabetes or get fat or something, its completely my fault. I just ate 3 or 4 sugar cookies, and I want to go make brownies. That's partially because I don't feel like making my power point.

Are you kidding me? You had 4 sugar cookies and you are worried about diabetes and/or gaining weight. That's completely ridiculous. Making brownies is fine, too. Now, if you eat the entire pan of brownies, then you should worry about this. Actually, don't even worry. I think you'd have to eat a pan of brownies like once a week for a few months before you develop a weight problem or fuck up your blood/sugar or glucose or whatever diabetes messes up. Insulin. I don't know. Let mick get on that.

This was an unnecessary rant, huh? Well i'm at work.

mick, RN, says: liz is lucky to have been brought up in a house where 4 cookies is a lot. i was brought up in a house where we lined up at troughs of lasagna and then were showered with little debbies. sometime between dessert and slumber, we'd have fruit salad. and by fruit salad i mean tubs of sherbet and pineapple slices. the only reason aimee is thin is because aimee is neurotic and peels everything she eats. this way she is only consuming 1/8th of each individual food item. or was i supposed to be going into the pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes?

im not really that concerned about getting fat yet. i'm giving my metabolism another 3-5 years before i have to retire from eating a pan of brownies. which i have done before.

i do honostly wonder if i could give myself diabetes sometimes. but its not like a eat a pan of brownies a day
