So... best episode ever? I think it just might be
It's definitely one of my favourites. I think season 4 has been consitantly great.

Yes, I felt that Arthur had to externalise his feeling to Merlin. Arthur's a very closed person so I think it took extreme circumstance and extreme feelings to have him open up like that.

Arthur point-blank refuses to believe that Merlin is gone
He's in complete denial, like if he doesn't acknowledge it, then it won't be true. I loved the little moment where he stopped Agravaine offering his condolences.

I think he spoke for every anti-Arwen shipper out there during the lunch scene. Jealous!Merlin ftw!
He really did! He was brilliant and made some vaild points!

Yeah, the last scene in past seasons would have been so different. In this episode it cam across as very teasing and flirty and sharing a joke.

Yes, I loved that part! And the way he just stared at the piece of Merlin's coat in front of him, like he couldn't/wouldn't believe it.

Yes! That was brilliant. I loved how it was put directly over Camelot too. Nice symbolism.
