I always get ideas running through my head so might as well put them on my livejournal. Take seriously or don't, it's just an idea. ^_^ Or more like a dream....
Fashion Show Contest!
Other than the usual fashion show where we educate and show people different genres of lolita.
But why not let people show their best outfits and coordinates off!
This isn't about who spends the most but;
- coordination of their clothes
color coordination
sticks with a theme
portrays a story
individuality and uniqueness
not to mention is there use of -DIY accessories. -Off brand items.
There will be category competitions:
Main Category
Classic:
Sub-category
Classic, Country, Sailor, Wa & Qi
Sweet
Sub-category:
Sweet, OTT Sweet, Shiro & Hime
Goth
Sub-category:
Goth, Aristocrat, Kuro, Ero and Guro
DIY (a section where people show off their sewing skills, it has to be your own creation)
Sub category:
In the DIY category about 80% must be made by you, item that DO NOT include;
-Purse -Shoes -Boots -Socks -Jewelry (such as rings, earrings, bracelet,
-Glasses -Sunglasses -Contacts -Undergarments -Petticoat -Nails -Straw hat -Top hat
DIY item DO include:
-Jumperskirts -Onepiece -Skirts -Wristcuffs -Blouses -Cut-sews -Knit wear -Jacket -Coat -Headdress -Headbows -Hairbows -Bag(Even with out a leather purse you can make your own bag) -Aprons -Capelet -Armwarmers -Bonnet
*(It would be encouraged to make/design your own jewelry, stuffed animals, tote bags, hats and purses)
Then in the final round all classes will compete against each other.
You will be scored in:
Poise & Confidence
Grace
Coordination
Overall look & attitude
Individuality and Uniqueness
To participate and to qualify the following you must apply the following:
Photos
1. Of you and your favorite outfit. Dress to impress!
2. One close-up that shows hair and make-up.
3. Prove that it is you! Show a
-No webcamera, low quality
-NO less than 800x600 size
-It must be YOU! Proof must be shown as you give a sign that say your name.
A essay (not a terribly long one but long enough to portray the following:
-Tell us about yourself.
-What lead you to lolita.
-How it defined you.
-Define lolita in your own words.
A video
Tell us why we should choose you to be in the contest. Bear your heart and soul!
Videos must be 5 minutes or less.
