It was an unexpected collision - a battle of wills.
It should have been something she would have foreseen, but so in love was she, that she didn't even realize that it was a problem until it was right in her face.
"Draco," Hermione sighed while resisting the urge to rub her temples. "There is such a thing as too much green, you know." Was she always this sensitive or was it just the hormones talking? She had no idea.
Her husband, the charming snake that he is, merely sidled up next to her and pressed a chaste kiss at the nape of her neck. "Our little boy is going to be seeing a lot of green when he's in Slytherin, Hermione. It's not too late to start decorating to his tastes."
"Actually," Hermione grit out slowly. This was another collision, a minor disagreement between herself and Draco that had turned into a nine month feud. "She would like a room decorated in red. For our little girl, will be seeing a lot of red in her future."
Draco frowned and was about to say something he was definitely going to regret.
Fortunately, the portrait of Narcissa Malfoy spoke up almost hopefully, distracting the couple. "Maybe you'll have twins?"
Both Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy paled.
Crash.
Hermione rolled her eyes and smirked at the prone figure of her husband, "Wuss."
