I'm going to fill out the poll eventually, but I just had to say... best. userpic. EVAR. I heart Kurt. :) What'd you think of Timequake, by the way? I rather got the impression Kurt himself was saying goodbye, but if he was, jolly good show he made of it. I appreciate his other caustically humorous observations, but it was nice to see him say, essentially, "all in all, life isn't that bad ( ... )

oh before i head off to bed-- i forgot to tell you what i thought of timequake! that's for very good reason too. i normally have to reread vonnegut's books at least once before i feel prepared to discuss them with any intelligence. y'know...getting past my initial reactions and really tying everything together to get a big picture in my mind usually doesn't happen until the second reading (or third or fourth) for me.

schwa? yeah i read about you going to a zephyr game, and i thought, "what's a zephyr?" i mean i know what a zephyr is in the "wind" sense, but i don't know about the "sports team" sense. baseball maybe? i love that word by the way. that's going to be the name of my firstborn. zephyr bloom. haha zephyr depp. (can you tell i want to go see pirates of the caribbean?) anyway, the drifters! and the zephyrs! what a combo!

i could totally buy the idea of calling you "tang." remember triflin' night oh so long ago when you had orange hair and busted gangsta rap in a big suv on the way to the bookstore? i think that may have been tang's debut. i have pictures. heh heh

i think 10 pm will still be our best bet. nicole went last night and she said that they weren't even close to sold out (guess it was because it was a wednesday) so we probably won't have to worry about getting tickets ahead of time. i don't have my phone on me, so if you get a chance will you call somebody and get them to spread the word? alex, reggie, steven... who else might want to go?
