So many people tell me that life isn't perfect and that most people don't like their jobs and that I should accept it. Why is that? There are tons of people out there who do what they love and love what they do. Why is it so outrageous that I would rather be one of them than one of the many who hate going to work every day?

Amen.

No one that knows you or loves you should put conditions on their support of you that you must be stable, steady or following any certain path. They currently enjoy your company not because of your commitment to a job you hate but rather for all the things that make you hate your job. It's that vivacity and creativity in you that people are drawn to; not a talent for taxes.

Ya know, I told my mom last week, in the context of a different conversation, that sometimes all you really want is for someone to look at who you are, or who you see yourself to be, and see value in it. To tell you, 'Yes, I agree that this is a good thing about you, and I like it.'
