I've made a hat! My serger is still in the shop, and so I'm limited to only working on things that don't need any serging to be finished. Since I made the mini witch hat, I've been itching to make another mini hat. I was poking around for inspiration, and I found an Alice and the Pirates hat I liked fairly well, and so I decided to do something ( Read more... )

Eeeee :) Cute! Megan is working on making little hats, too! We're going to all get little tricorns made. I bet she'll make you one since you're in the secret group. BTW, did you get the invite or my PM?

Dude! I want a mini tricorn so badly! I can't figure out how to make one myself though. T_T

I haven't gotten your invite or pm at all. I just went and checked my lj inbox and I don't see anything, and I don't have any community invites in my gmail inbox. Invite me again? Or just email me the link to the comm?

lol~ I actually specifically mention that Alice and the Pirates was a subline of Baby, the Stars Shine Bright since I know that not everyone who reads my journal is up on all of the weird Japanese lolita brands. ^^

I like yours a lot better than the original!
Do you think you could make mini top hats and mini tricorns too?
Oh and mini bowler hats! I think a mini bowler hat would be the best thing EVER!!!!!!

Thanks so much! A number of people have said that and it's quite flattering! *^__^*

I know I could make mini top-hats, but I don't think I can do tricorns and bowlers without moving to using wool and hat blocks. They both require round tops. :/

I was going to find you a link to this BtSSB mini bowler hat that I had been drooling over for quite some time, but apparently they don't have it any more. T__T So, have a mini fedora instead!

My sister has a mini-bowler, it's the cutest thing ever :)

Okay, I love the hat, but I love so much (i.e., ALL) of your work, so that's not surprise-inducing...
