Today, I went to the Annual Atlanta Goth Oakland Cemetery Picnic, and so last night I made shortbread cookies to take with me. It's not a pot-luck event, but it is the sort of thing where you want to bring something to share. Although there is lemon curd in the pictures, I actually ended out taking strawberry jam since I figured it would be more

lol~ Well, it *can* be used as a torture device, but it's also produces a pretty interesting sensation... particularly on body parts with nerve damage. XD

Thanks! They are pretty tasty.. though I bet they'll be even better next time around since this was the first time I'd ever made them. ^^

lol~ Well, it can be used for any number of things. I actually acquired it before my herniated disk and nerve damage, but it's a very useful tool for gaging my progress in healing, particularly on my calf. And, of course, it's a great shortbread hole poker!
