I wish showers were common place over here in the uk :( I may have one just to buck the trend! Glad to see you both looking so happy <3

Are they not a regular sort of thing there? I had no idea. Cultural differences from country to country are so interesting! You should definitely have a shower though, if nothing else, just to drink girly drinks and play silly games. ^__^

1. My big sewing machine cover looks a lot like the blue and white graphic printed paper in one of the home-type gift pictures from the first shower

2. I have a chair I just bought and am restoring that is almost identical to the one you sat in at the second reception. In fact, it is identical to the matching chair in one of the other pictures that does not have the tufted arms.

3. I am very excited about your wedding and wedding theme.

1. It's awesome that you have a sewing machine cover! I'm never able to put my machine away long enough to bother covering it! XD

2. That's awesome! Pictures plz!

3. Thanks! You'll be coming, right?

1. I alternate between patterning and sewing, so sometimes I get to use them. Mostly, I just wanted to use the scrap fabric that wasn't big enough for anything else. 2 of my machines have tables they live in, but they are never out of use long enough to be put away. (Plus one of them weighs 25 pounds, so I don't like having to reset it all the time).

I love love love your dress in the first one. Please bring it. I want to see it in person. Also, I love how much spookier the crowd in the second group is. Two very cute parties. You guys are so retarded for each other. I love it XD

I'll probably be wearing it at some point during the weekend if I can figure out what shoes to wear with it. If not, I'll be sure to bring it for you. ^__^

Tissue paper bride is a brilliant game idea! 95% of my friends are male, but I'm thinking they should play. Hehe.

Also, I love that you chose Pi Day. My fiance and I are going with 10.10.10, which in binary is 42. :D I <3 geeks!

OMG! 95% men would only make it better! Also, your planned wedding date is full of win!!! That's almost better than Pi Day!
