I Need Models and a MakeUp Artist for Dragon*Con!

I'm going to be showing my designs in the steampunk fashion show at Dragon*Con on Friday night. The organizer hasn't done a particularly good job of getting models or makeup artists for designers, and so I'm thinking it will be best to just provide my own. I have three models so far, but I need two or three more

So I guess that makes me the 3rd? :P I hope you get an ample reply for people wanting to help with make-up. Heaven forbid I have to go at my own alone :P

I deleted my first comment becuase I didn't read your entry closely enough. I'll ask my friend if she would consider; she's based in Atlanta and has a sizeable portfolio but the time constraints may be an issue.

I had actually gone back and edited my entry right before you made your comment, so you probably didn't actually miss anything the first time you read the post. Really, she could show up later than 7pm, and that would be fine with me. The girls just need to be ready by 9:30.

You did ask a good question in your previous comment. The stylist would be allowed creative freedom within reason. I'm never too picky about makeup. So long as it comes out well and jives with the clothes, I'm cool with it.

Oh wow! I had no idea you were considering coming to Dragon*Con! If you could make it, I would love love love to have you model for me.

Speaking of modeling, I've been meaning to email and ask you if you were interested in sending some of your work in for the AWA fashion show. I've only recently gotten the details finalized which is why I hadn't contacted you sooner. If it's too late of notice, I understand, but I thought I'd extend the invitation.

Also, if you want to dress someone in a sample of your clothes and have them hand out your cards and advertise, I'd love to do that!

I'll keep you in mind. You are *really* tiny, and that's my only reluctance to putting you in the show. I will be putting out a call for models for the AWA fashion show as well, and for that I can get you a free pass if you don't already have one. I don't know if I would use you for my work, but I might because you are cute as a button. There will be other designers though, so there's a good chance one of use will use you.

I might take you up on wandering about in my clothes any handing out cards. I'll have to see what kind of time I have to accomplish that. What are your current measurements anyway?

I'd love to help with AWA, but the 2 cons are so close, and I have to work on getting a grown-person job, so I'll only be going to DragonCon this year. I'm not as into anime as I was, and I've drifted away from the club I went with before.
Running around in your stuff would be really fun! Right now I'm about
35.5" bust
28.5" waist
37" hips
and 5'1" tall. I have all the stuff like blouses, petticoats, socks, hair stuff, etc; if you have just a few extra pieces to loan.
