I find pride to be a huge pain in the ass, so I attempt to avoid it =)

you're allowed to be proud of yourself and of others from time to time. It doesn't hurt anyone.

lease proud of....not having a degree (but if i did, i wouldn't be with steven - so little blessings i guess).

I still believe things work for a reason. I'm experiencing this very phenomenon in my life right now.

Maybe someday, you can complete your degree alongside your children, like my dad did. He gave up school for me, and finished college the same time I did.

Oh I definitely agree that things happen for a reason.

At the end of the day though, I've always wanted to be a mom above all other things - so really, me not having a degree was just a disappointment before they came along :)

And who knows, I just might decide to get my degree in something someday....but right now I'm fairly content with the task at hand :)
