Okay, so I somehow got an A in Differential Equations. In the math world, this is what we refer to as an unpossibility. "Attendance is something I feel very strongly about. I really, really deplore preaching to an empty room. (I really do.) I can't make you come to class but I sorely resent it when you don't and I secretly look for nasty ways to punish you if you don't. (I really do.) Please be aware that students who do not attend class regularly don't get breaks when it comes to judgment calls on my part. On the other hand, students who come to class and show a genuine interest in the course can talk me into almost anything."
I really think I earned an A based entirely on attendance.
Also, I'll be back in Radford tomorrow (Friday) to get the rest of my stuff.
