I go to Nantucket quite a bit to visit my old roommate, and one thing I have learned is not to act like you know everything. There is stuff I do know (like the curried chicken salad at Barlett's is super tasty), but more often than not, I don't offer my opinion about things there. To be quite honest, while I have been heading out to Nantucket for the last 15 years, I still couldn't tell you how to get to my friend's house from downtown (I spend most of the time in the car playing with the radio (96.3 the Rose, baby).)

Oh my god, can I just tell you, they changed their format? I nearly had a heart attack the last time I was on MV when I clicked and it wasn't the same five pop songs over and over again! It's frickin' WEEI now!

On a personal note, I was sad to hear recently that Thomson's Clam Bar in Harwich had closed--not because I'd ever been there but because during my long-ago work days on Nantucket we'd hear that jingle over and over again on 'MVY. I can still sing the whole thing.
