I think the statement, besides being snicker-worthy, reveals that these people must have very unimaginative sex lives. I suspect a lot of their hostility is rooted in frustration and envy.

Out of curiosity, what is this attack on traditional marriage to consist of? Are we all getting together to throw rice at it, or what?

The state I live in legalized equal marriage several years ago, and I have yet to notice any impact whatsoever on my own marriage. I keep asking someone to explain to me why I'm worse off but no real explanation has been forthcoming.

:: sigh :: People, please stop making my Lord and Savior looking not just mean and petty, but unable to craft a coherent sentence. Isn't there something in the Old Testament about God smiting folks for that?

This after he finishes smiting them for the untruths in their statement, ofcourse.

If there isn't, there should be. There sure as hell isn't anything in the gospels to uphold their position. Of course, these are the same people who can read a passages like the parables of the sheep and the goats, or the eye of the needle, and then spend an hour explaining why Jesus didn't really mean what he said.
