No surprise at the result. If any more evidence was needed that Perry is a fool, it was provided by this response to a question in Iowa today. The question was asked by my very own spouse:

Lawrence v Texas was an important case, and Perry had no clue what it was about, even though it was decided when he was governor

*headdesk* Anyone who claims to have a stance on the issue of gay marriage, or the repeal of DADT, or ANYTHING like that, NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT LAWRENCE V. TEXAS. Perry's response doesn't even make sense! If he wanted to sound intelligent, he could have asked Mr. M to remind him what the court case was about. Then, he could have ACTUALLY ADDRESSED THE QUESTION.

To make things even more bizarre, we just got robo-called by the National Organization for Marriage. Since we've both donated and worked for One Iowa, their sworn enemy, they've definitely got the wrong number.

LOL! That reminds me of a couple of years ago when Tyson was called by the NRA. When they asked if he wanted to protect his 2nd Amendment rights, he said, "No, not really. I have no problem with gun control." They couldn't get off the phone fast enough.

We get polled so often here, I've had lots of groups hang up on me, particularly when the questions are really absurd, and I start saying, "This sounds like a push poll. Who commissioned it?" I've never gotten an answer to that last question.

He hasn't met Romney personally, but he's not a fan. His rec was based on his evaluation of the three main social conservatives, Perry, Santorum and Bachmann, all of whom he has had the dubious honor of seeing in the flesh.
