And I've said it already, Ms M - but congratulations and very well done. I can't imagine Dreamspinner publish a great many of the unsolicited manuscripts that hit their virtual mat, so your manuscript was clearly made of the right stuff.

And I looked it up. They accept 2-5 percent of submissions from the slush pile, which I'm sure is still a much larger percentage than the older publishing houses that still sell more paper books than e-books.

When I looked at the publishers' sites, I found many of them accept submissions. They're more accessible than the big publishers, and they're growing. They produce a lot of new authors. You should definitely try submitting to one of them.
