Last night's midnight Potterfest at Barnes & Noble was madness. The place was PACKED! Wall to wall bodies, waiting with bated breath for the new book - there was even a character dress-up contest. There were so many people that the store's airconditioning couldn't contain it! It was too damn sultry in there... But we had fun goofing off,

Well, I knew wizard/nerd was all the rage in Europe, but I wasn't sure if the trend had made it to the state yet.... I love to be cutting edge!

Ha! Y'know, there has always been an empty spot in my heart too after Seinfeld ended - there just isn't the same blend of mindless chatter & in depth social commentary on TV these days. You'll be the Jerry. I'll be the Elaine. Kristen can be the... Kramer? XP

Well - as good as that one was it will never in my opinion top Harry Potter and the Sourcerer's Bone. The scenes in there were just so unexpected. I mean I never thought Hagrid would die from being intimate with a unicorn, if anything I thought it would be the other way around. Of course the part between Nearly Headless Nick and his guide dog was just desturbing though. ;-)

Dude, The Captain's Caress is like, the best book EVER! I was particularly fond of Chapter 7, "Good Touch/Bad Touch". If you liked that one, though, here are some other titles I strongly recommend.
