Ack! I've had the song "Roxy" stuck in my head for the past two days and it's driving me absolutely batty. Please help me get something else in there, I beg of you, f-list

It's the INCREDIBATH, remember!foxywriterJuly 24 2005, 07:59:35 UTC
Yes, yes, the moving drags on. Now you can understand my deep loathing of the act. IMO moving is something that is easiest to swallow when executed over one weekend or day -- not a few weeks. But, then, I always was the kid who liked to deal with crap quickly and dirtily, then move on, not stagger out the torture.
LOL! Your dad and rods....that's classic.
At least you didn't wake up with "Feels Like the First Time" by Foreigner in your head the other day....

LOL wow, I didn't realize you had such strong feelings for the Incredibath! The truth comes out! I still like Incredijohn or Incredipotty. Perhaps we should take a vote?
No, no Foreigner for me! I prefer Cheap Trick... or Grand Funk Railroad. Anything from the 70s really. ;)
Too bad we won't have Beavis & DD around this time to entertain us with their antics while we move... hehe. But if we bribe Dustin with milkshakes, he'll do whatever we tell him to.
Re: It's the INCREDIBATH, remember!foxywriterJuly 24 2005, 20:31:39 UTC
Incredibath is just a good name. Because the IncrediBles... IncrediBath.... You get that B sound that you don't get with the others. Like IncrediBile is better than IncrediCar....
Ah, Cheap Trick. "I waaaaaant you to want me!" Didn't they have other songs beyond that? I wish my mental soundtrack had them instead of "I want to know what love is" Foreigner.
I could do without the "what does that switch do?" moments of the move this time around. Milkshakes, eh? Anything, eh? Hmmmmm. I think we should have him do the heavy lifting for us!
Re: It's the INCREDIBATH, remember!missnickersJuly 24 2005, 20:49:02 UTC
Good call, good call... this is why you're the brains behind the operation and I am merely the eye candy. XP (God help us)
Didn't Cheap Trick sing "Give A Little Bit?" No, wait that was Super Tramp. What the heck is up with the names of 70s bands?! I like "I wanna know what love is!" I want you to shooooooow me!!!!
Y'know what other song I keep getting stuck in my head? "I NEED YOU NOOOW! More than words can say, I need you now!!!" It's still hard at 6 o'clock in the morning...
Bear in mind that Dustin is 6' tall but weighs like 110 lbs. *I* can probably lift more than him.
You have taken coolness to a new level!power12252July 24 2005, 22:33:59 UTC
RE: Incredi-bathroom
OH. MY. GOD. YOU. ARE. AWESOME. LMAO!! Oh man, your new place is going to be like summer camp. I am SO staying over. Having toys in the bathroom, that is just sheer genius. Do you have an incredi-rubber duckie?
RE: “Where should I stick this rod?”
Oh man, that must have hurt like hell biting your tongue so hard! That was just the easiest set up in the world. I admire your willpower in being able to hold back, I sure as hell couldn’t have done it! But it was probably a good idea, seeing as he is helping you move. But sometimes just thinking of all the comebacks you could have said can be quite enjoyable as well.
RE: Cable NaziWTF? He refused to service you so he could get his haircut? What an asshole! You should totally call the company and tell them what he did. Maybe they’ll do this extra service for free, to keep your business. That reminds me of a time when this truck almost sideswiped the Big Smooth twice on the highway. I was not happy! But fortunately, on the back of his truck, he had

An Incredi-rubber ducky?! What an excellent idea! Now I'll never leave the bathroom! Incredi-rubber ducky makes bath-time fun!
ROTFL, my friends and I used to take it upon ourselves to call all the trucks/cars/etc. that had one of those "How am I driving" stickers... One time I spent a full 15 full on the phone once with a representative from the Diamond Whipes corporation. XD I'm so evil....
But I'm not pleased to hear that Big Smooth was almost hurt! NOBODY MESSES WITH BIG SMOOTH, NOBODY!
Ha ha ha, so you are familiar with the Cat Lady?? I'll have to take a pic with her and send it to you. I'm sure she'll love that... I think she already wants to sic her "babies" on us.

*sings* Incredi-ducky, you're the one! *squeak squeak* You make bath time lots of fun! *squeak squeak* Incredi-ducky, I'm awfully fond of you, doo doo doo dee doo!
LOL! I wonder how many calls those companies get every day. It is a great activity to do when you are stuck in traffic. But yes, I was not amused when the Big Smooth was almost attacked. If I was a prosecutor back then, I would have thrown the book at him! GRRRRRR!!!!
Of course I'm familiar with Cat Lady. Truth be told, I think she's the sexiest Simpsons female character. (well, besides the lunch lady of course) :D
Re: You have taken coolness to a new level!missnickersJuly 25 2005, 00:53:55 UTC
Instead of squeaking, the incredi-ducky will say "It's showtime!!" Hehe, you'd have to pry that thing away from my cold, dead hands!
Those companies shouldn't put their number on the side of a truck if they don't want calls. I mean, that's just asking for it, really. Yes, when someone harms Big Smooth, you use your long arm of the law to throw the book at him! Or you could use the sword of justice! (if nothing, terrorize him with my bad metaphors :P)
LOL the lunch lady! My fondest memory is her stirring a big vat of "horse testicles" with a cigarette in her mouth.... Mmmm!
Hmm... *thinks of a way to word a comment about the desk and drilling* Nope - not coming. Glad you got that puppy fixed. ;-)
Interesting story about your dad and "the rod" and commendations on holding your tongue. I couldn't do it. Can't wait to see the finished product on the Incredibath. :-D
I think you made enough suggestive comments about the desk and drilling the other night to last for a good long while. XP Or should I c&p that convo here for the benefit of our viewers? Hehe.
Dude, if it had been anyone other than my father I could never have resisted the rod comment... but my dad *shrug* I'm still a little girl around him.
I have another pic taken today that made Kristen burst into a fit of hysterical laughter and insist that I post it here - but don't feel like sharing with people I don't know, so if you wanna see it, comment here or hit me up via AIM. ;)
Would this pic be the one you sent me on AIM that one time? (I think you know which one I mean.) ;)

Yeah, I think we all have trouble making such comments around our parents.
