We have had two new members of staff at work, two Filipino ladies arrived yesterday and they are absolutely TINY! This is their first time away from home and they are scared stiff, I feel so sorry for them.One has left three children aged under five at home and the other one a six year old daughter,coming here to work is the only way they can ( Read more... )

Yesterday at work Fred, one of the residents came wandering down the corridor waving a banana in my face shouting " I bet this brings back memories".

I'm not saying what my reply was but let's just say it was most unbecoming of a 55 year old woman!
