I went to the optician this morning, first time in five years, yes, I am a naughty girl, I know this, but frankly specs are too expensive to buy every other year.  Unsurprisingly my prescription has changed, and also, arrgh, I need reading glasses, which I am not going to get, I am getting varifocals, because I intend to be a trendy older person,

Ooh, retinas is pretty!

Yay for new glasses! I recently forced myself to go in (after four or five years) for an exam, but my prescription hasn't changed much. So I didn't bother with new glasses, mostly because I almost never bother to wear them. I am trying, though -- I've managed three whole work days now.

Simon did talk me into prescription sunglasses, as the frames were free. They will probably never get worn.
