Dan finally created a MySpace page and he posted this picture. I don't even recgonize him anymore. He looks so different. It's been so long since he went to Iraq (1 day shy of the 9 month mark) and his hair has grown out and he's lost weight and I had to stare to make sure it was him. Um, princess, that pic is from OIF1, maybe September or October of '03, taken in the back of an open-top Hummvee parked at the UN World Food Program compound on the highway in Mosul. It was in some old OIF pics I got from ex-Bulldog Ty Snyder a couple months ago. Note DCU's instead of ACU's, no grenade launcher under my M4, and an M68 instead of the USMC-model ACOG you let me buy.
