I know being in the hospital and ANY diagnosis is difficult cause either you are there for something and they can find nothing or they tell you something is wrong with you and it just sucks ( ... )

Thanks. Who needs a gallbladder anyway, right? They're practically an appendix. J/k

Thanks for sharing. I really have no idea what to expect. I'm scared to read webmd. I just want to ignore it. But really what you said about pain right after eating, yeah I never would have gone to the doc for it cause I assumed it had to do with my ulcerative colitis (in the intestines).

Thanks really. Take care!

A friend of mine had her gallbladder taken out a couple weeks after she had a c-section. Really, it's not a bad surgery, and relief you get from it is worth it 100 times over (at least in her opinion).

I go to an off-post doctor. If I were you, I'd go to the Tri-care office and request the paperwork for a waiver to see civilian doctors. They'll give you a list of providers who take Tri-care. Call around and see who is accepting new patients, pick one, and turn the paper work in. In a week or so, you'll get a letter in the mail saying if your waiver was approved or not. When I did this, I listed my reason as "I live offpost and an offpost doctor would be more convenient for me." Good luck!
