Feels like it's been forever since I've done a survey meme. What the hay.

What is on your bed right now?

Boyfriend pillow, a monogrammed pillow sewn by my sister, two lumpy sleeping pillows that need to be replaced, teal sheets, a blanket crocheted by my grandma when I was in college, a superwarm but staticy microfiber blanket, my phone, a fleece zip up, earbuds, my pajamas from last night.  All sort of jumbled up.  I've been trying to be better about making my bed daily but didn't happen yet this morning.

Hmmm, after some hangover sometime in the past few months.  Maybe the day after Halloween?  I don't throw up much.

Do you drink your soda from a straw?

I prefer not to, but if it's from a can in NYC, I will.  Rats, you know.

What are you doing tomorrow?

Depends a little on what I do tonight.  If the birthday party goes long, I'll sleep in tomorrow, go for a run/walk if it doesn't snow, hopefully meet up to visit with a potentially new friend, and try to make it to a yoga class in the afternoon.  If the birthday party gets ditched for a late night meetup with the aforementioned boy (as I'm hoping will happen ....) then I'll head home at some point and see what of the list gets done.

Yes, I am.  I am cautiously happy.  I like my job and coworkers.  I like my social life.  I like my city.  I am conscious of the current stresses of my roommate and dating situations, and I am doing all right with managing them in ways that are not overwhelming me or denying what's going on.  I'm happy.

My room.

Biggest annoyance in your life right now?

Hands down, two of my roommates.  For a multitude of reasons, but this week, the big one is that they both do not see any issues with singing and playing the guitar/ukulele in the living room at 130a.  Because I am a grown-up, require consistent sleep, and actually consider other people's lives, I see a lot of issues with that.

Are you jealous of anyone?

The person I took this from kept the answer of the person she took it from, and I think it's perfect: "I recently learned the difference between jealousy and envy is that jealousy means you want to replace someone, envy means you want to be included. So I'm really not jealous of anyone, but I do get envious."

Time to get cracking.
