dont forget clapping and whistling...the clap/whistle combo is better than any dumb SUPERIOR song. Seriously though...I know what you mean..It is pretty disheartening when people base this flimsy premise of a personality based on the knowledge they have acquired about music (or any media really). and than because of either your aversion or lack of knowledge towards this said music, you are discounted as an individual...JUST BECAUSE you dont know about some stupid, ultimately meaningless intagible audio happenstance. be sure to check your soap. if it's dry that means you have good taste in music, but if it is gooey, your blood will turn to powder and you have to defend your tastes to everyone in the universe.

i have been guilty of judging people on thier tastes. and i can say that i haven't always been the nicest person in the world. but come on, i mean it doesn't matter that i prefer petula clark to "high art."

i here by decree every music is valid...and i'll punch people in the throat if they are mean about something as subjective as taste.

I agree wif u wholeheartedly. And I, as everyone else ever in the whole world has done, have given people the cold shoulder based on things that they like... It's one of those things where sometimes you do judge people, but you dont even realize it. JUBILEE FOR ALL THE MUSICS IN THE WIDE WORLD!

i miss the first few weeks of diva 92.3 when they only had like thirty songs in rotation...i havn't heard total eclipse of the heart in OVER A WEEK. i have a feeling that i'm going to break down and buy in at the itunes store.
