xD thanks. it's pretty hard, but at the same time i've been listening to it for a couple of years now and because of that i know some phrases. i think what makes it so hard for english people to learn is because it's just so different than english. and there's the fact that instead of our little alphabet there 2000+ recquired japanese writing characters you're by law recquired to know in japan. lmfao.
Lol, that's how I felt before. Like I had always wanted to learn it (I just love how japanese sounds, idk. It's just a pretty language to me), but I was like "lol they dont even use my alphabet NEXT"
Also, yup you're right about the kanji, hiragana, and katakana thing. Hiragana is basically their alphabet, kanji is for words, and katakana is for writing foreign words (thus it isn't used often.) It sounds like a lot to know (it really is), but all I know is that I want to learn...so I will.
