I'm hoping the "adoption papers" come through soon. If you are wondering what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the papers for my car auto loan. I am sitting at the bus stop...just waiting. Waiting for the 183 bus to take me home. I could have just walked and I would have been at my apartment by now but it is dark and I am by myself. I’m beginning to really miss my car…I mean REALLY miss it, especially when I’m  walking from the Metro station to my apartment at 10 pm at night.  Yes, I said I’d be fine without one-but only during the daytime.  At night, I miss just jumping in my car and just go home without having to worry about getting jumped by a street bully.

On the morning of my birthday, I went to church and I waited in the gusty wind for the priest to give me a birthday blessing. It was worth the wait!
