Hmmm...I could have sworn I commented earlier, so you may see two comments from me about this. Anyway, scratch number 9 because I, too, have had a bad allergic reaction to compazine.
Did your compazine reaction include involuntary opening of mouth (very widely, I might add) and then involuntary muscle spasms in the neck which caused my head to go back and cut-off breathing? It was pretty bad.
I saw Tim in concert almost two years ago here in St. Louis. As a member of his fan club (pretty pathetic, hunh?) I was able to buy pre-sale tickets and got front row seats. We were right up against the stage and during "Watch the Wind Blow By" he leaned down and let people touch him and then he grabbed my hand and with his beautiful brown eyes gazing into mine sang right to me...ok, well I'm sure everyone next to and behind me thought the very same thing but hey, it was a fantasy fulfilled that night! I felt like such a teenaged-girl. I cried when he came out on stage...(insert sigh here) It was the best night I'd had in a really long time!
Yeah, my throat felt like it was closing off. I ended up in the ER getting IV benadryl and an admonishment to never ever ever take any kind of phenothiazines again.
Me too! Whenever I go to the doctor, whether I've been there before or not, I always, always, always tell them - "don't give me compazine or ANYTHING related to it" and they always say, "oh, you're one of those people"!
I suppose the answer to that lies in your answers, above? *grin*
Tim McGraw! Whoa. I've had some great meetings and interviews with country stars but to be SUNG to. Wow. Although, Travis Tritt dissed on me at KRTY, all on tape. Gary egged him on, of course. That man has sexual energy like no one else I've met... growrrrrrrrr
Yeah, I've been a little busy. I'm heading back to California on Monday for the week. I tried to listen to KRTY when I was there last month but it just wasn't working for me. Sounds like you're just as busy though! Congrats on the success of your kiddie care center and your new satellite gig and everything else that's going on. I don't know how you do it. Just reading your posts makes me tired!
