Thank you! I'm debating on whether or not I need a swishy black cape to wear into class the first day. Perhaps I can cultivate a reputation for being eccentric from the very start and they'll be afraid to cross me. Ah, wishful thinking, perhaps.

Oh yes, grab the luck while you can. It won't last long before someone snags it all up!

I've been so busy with all the preparations for resume, interview, Christmas, etc. that I haven't reviewed your story yet (ducks and grovels), but I did read it, and I liked it very much! I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. :D

*Squees happily*

Hey, even if you haven't left an official review, it's just as good to me to see you type in your LJ :) Chapter three should post within the next day or two . . .

I hear from the review queens that it is awfully fun to have lots of them to print off and roll around in (yes, GinnyW, I'm talking about you, m'dear), so I will get to that soon. :D

Ooooh, yea! Chapter 3 already. I know you've already written the entire thing, but I wasn't sure how quickly you were able to post on the moderated archives. Go you!

Thank you!! I'm so excited about this.

Is this the keyboard of the same computer that just was "fixed" last week? *groans at the thought of more technical support*

Yes, you've had entirely too much of a bad time lately. I promise though, when I released the luck, I specifically pointed some of it in the direction of you and Shiv. You both need as much as you can get after what you've put up with for the past few weeks! :D

The computer is one and the same.

A key came off, I got it back on, but it's loose, today it came off terribly and it's only fixed loosely... not gonna stay on. Yes, same computer that was just fixed. And I had them send me a new AC adapter last week.

The warranty expires in a month.

That's why it's dying on me.

*grabs the luck*

I really do need it.

On the plus side, I'm REALLY liking my story right now... I... erm... trashed the other one this morning and restarted. Yeah, I do that often. ;)

This is the pinch hit? The one you had thousands of words written for, right?

Ooooh, you so crazy! I'm glad you're liking what you're writing now, though.

As long as the computer sputters and dies before the warranty expires, and not afterwards, it's all good. At the rate you're going, it will be practically brand new with all the replacement parts you've snagged lately. :D

Thanks! It totally came out of nowhere, so I'm doubly grateful.

A new job for you? Nah. You need to win the lottery so you can just surf the net and write stories.

Congrats. We spend more time at work than any other activity, so being happy with it is uber important. Good luck!

I'm glad to hear about the new job, though it's a shame when there's awkwardness in leaving the current job...

Thankfully they've been very nice about everything. Of course, I gave two weeks notice, so things can change, but I don't think they will. *crosses fingers*
