Give me a break, please

Okay, I'll admit it.  I'm feeling somewhat crabby after going home from work yesterday to find out that the power supply on the home computer has died.  And the husband unit states that he needs to order the part from Dell so that it will fit correctly.  That means no home computer for at least a week.  I do have the work computer to use at times ( Read more... )

Oh no! No computer? I was without one for almost a month, when my last laptop died for the third time. That was right when I started writing "Fire" and it nearly killed me. The pain will end, though. I promise.

Gosh, I'm so glad celebrities are around to give us advice. Couldn't function without their wisdom.

I'm already taking deep breaths in anticipation of the horror of the weekend.

Mmm-hmmm. I'm glad too. I'd be unsure how to tie my shoes or wipe my nose if I didn't have a role model like Paris Hilton to look up to. Honestly, our society has become so celebrity obsessed that it is pathetic. I'm probably just jealous. I wish I could get paid millions of dollars for standing around and doing nothing.

Well, I think that she did start with a homemade porno, but I don't think I'm quite ready to take that plunge. :-)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so sick of celebrities telling us how to vote and what the entire country -- nay, world -- should be doing.

Just because one person sticks a microphone in your face doesn't mean that the rest of the world gives a shit.

And they need to realize that once they open their mouth, their ability to be a blank slate disappears. After the last year with Tom Cruise, I'll never watch another one of his movies, because he just repulses me now. No more blank slate on which he can project a character. Just a creepy guy who wants to tell me how to live.

I'm happy dancing right now because I've stolen hubbys work laptop. At least I won't be in total withdrawal for the weekend. :)

Don't give it up without a fight! Or at least, see if you can bribe him -- or make him bribe you -- if you must give the computer back. *wink*

Hi, doing some lj hopping, I came across a few of your posts and saw that you use one of the icons I created. This is wonderful and you're very welcome to do so, but unfortunately you credit bambu345, who, indeed, asked me to allow her to use it. Please do me the favour and credit me instead. It's the icon with Alan Rickman slumped over the chair.

I'll be happy to do that. It's a lovely icon, and I appreciate you letting me keep it. I'm still fairly new to the LJ world, so I apologize for the lack of credit. Will change it immediately. :)

Thank you very much. :)

I think most people will be flattered if you like one of their icons and would like to use it. Most of them would prefer to be credited, though, but I admit that often it's difficult to find out who created it in the first place.
