Ugh! I'm so sorry, that's awful. Glad you're feeling better!

When I'm sleep deprived I can get quite nasty as well. Not always, but often. If I'm not angry than I'm closed off, but if someone tries to draw me out (which they often do) than watch out. ;)

It used to happen to me all the time when I worked in the Cath Lab. I would work all day and into the evening on my call days, and then go home, only to get called in at 3 in the morning. By the time we got done with our emergency cases, it was time to come back in to work, so I would end up working all day.

Times like this, I'm reminded why I got out.

I myself do a fine impression of The Incredible Hulk when I'm sleep deprived. Occasionally, I will get giddy, but that mostly depends on the company, if there is the possibility of sleep in the near future, or if I have to go to work or not.

I can be fine most of the time, but then something sets me off, and I turn into The Hulk myself. I was driving home yesterday and someone decided to pull out and go 20 mph in front of me.

Thankfully, I was by myself, or my kids would have learned some fun new words to take to school today.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mum *sends chocolate*.

I don't like being sleep deprived, as my eyes will feel funny, I get a headache and I will feel like crying. Not good...

I wanted to cry while I was yelling at people from the safety of my car. The first thing my 8 year old said this morning was "Did you get some sleep last night so you won't be cranky today?" Made me feel about 2 inches tall.

Mum is okay, but I'll still take chocolate. Mmmmmmm...

I'm very, very glad that mum is okay.

BURTON CUMMINGS? As in, the voice of the Guess Who? What of his are you listening to?

Yes, Mum is fine. She is a vegetarian, perfect weight, never smoked or drank, and walks 2 miles a day. She puts me to shame, but when she called saying she was having pain in her chest, going into her back and down her left arm...well...you know how that is all too well. She does have high blood pressure and a family history, so we definitely wanted to check it out.

I can't believe someone on my flist knows who Burton Cummings is! My husband is a huge fan, so he turned me on to him, and I think that we have most all of his stuff. I was listening to I Will Play You A Rhapsody from his Greatest Hits on the iPod. I love that song!

Burton Cummings has the *most* amazing voice. I am not terribly familiar with his solo work, other than Stand Tall, which gives me chills.

Tell your hubby he has good taste ;)

I told him this morning, and he is still preening from the compliment. He really does have great taste for the most part with his music.

I shall have to find some way to bring him down from this high, or he'll try to make me listen to Jethro Tull again and I'll have to hurt him. ::shudders::

No amount of good music will ever make up for the horror of having to listen to Aqualung.
