Wedding picture goodness

I figured it was time I put some wedding photos up. I've been itching to do this for months but have been dragging my feet. Well on to the pictures!

Fun fact: Our wedding photographer almost got rear-ended by our limo driver on the way to the wedding! )

Hehe thank you! Nope noone said that I looked like a celebrity but they did tell me I should wear my make-up like that. I'm not sure who you are talking about. The little white things in my hair are homemade chiffon rosebuds attached to bobbypins. My stepmom in law made four of the big ones for me and found the tiny ones elsewhere. The bridal shop wanted 90.00 each for them and she was sweet enough to make them for me. She added little pearls and rhinestones in them. It was so sweet of her.

I thought it was cute and unique too! I wasn't going to tell the girls how to style their own hair. She used the same material from the dress she had to get it shortened. So no material went to waste. Some did because the store didn't listen to her request. She was going to make a wrap out of the material so they gave her one the color of the dress.

Part of me regrets making them wear the same gown. I really gave them the option to bring in pictures of styles they liked but none of them did. When we were picking out gowns I gave them three choices. Unfortunately one of them had been sold out. (A two piece) They all just wanted a long gown which was what the other two dress were. Getting 3 out of four of them together was a challenge and luckily they all quickly agreed to the one they wore. Though the one with the purple ribbon really liked the out of stock one better but she liked this one a lot too and they wanted the same gown. I was really lucky they all got along.

About the shoes which were lovely slippers but they were a bit small on me. That was a last minute decision because my other shoes really didn't match the dress. Step mom in law had those ready because she was holding my dress and noticed it.

Not the smartest decision because my alterations on the hem were made for my cream colored flats. Once things were bustled I was fine but I did trip at the alter and you can see it in the video. =) It really is funny and luckily I didn't fall up the steps at the groom's feet. What does your dress look like?
