30 Day Song Meme - Day 01
So day 1, let's see how long I manage to keep this up!
Ok, confession time, my iTunes currently lists the total number of songs I have loaded as just under 12,000 (11,993 to be precise) so finding my one favourite song in that collection was something of a challenge. This was maybe one of the hardest ones to decide, I have a favourite song for what I am so angry I'm inches away from killing people, I have one song for when I'm blissfully happy, one which is best when I'm just a bit miffed and its a Wednesday.
But I had to pick one so here goes:
"I'm Alive" by Disturbed.
I love the message of this song and the way it's expressed (what can I say I like my music at '11'). I have had a long love affair with Disturbed's music and this album came out at the perfect moment for me and this song allowed me to reclaim something that I had started to lose for one reason or another. I'd advise listening to this loud!
