Heh. Yeah, I absolutely HATE those songs now. Well, no, I adore them - but I think you might know what I mean. Because of past associations, I find it terribly difficult to listen to them without bawling my eyes out. It's hard to say exactly why. I guess they're just phenomenal. Especially Magic. Even just reading the words makes me shiver.
My first big breakup was WAEA, because I was angry. very angry, and ben gets that out in WAEA.
TUBORM was the biggest solace in this last breakup. Those songs have so much more meaning. (though I don't listen to magic for may reasons.)
Don't Change Your Plans became a staple as I drove to VA to see the girlfriend who moved away and slowly watched the relationship disintegrate. That disc cuts to the bone now, but I never feel quite as alive listening to anything else. (therefore, it's reserved for special occasions and moods.) I'm glad you've rediscovered it though. It will mean so much more forever now.
