the international space station

last night i got to watch the international space station pass by my house at, according to my really quick back-of-the-envelope calculation, 5500 meters per second. it took about 3 minutes to get from the southwest part of the sky to the southeast, and it arced as high as 30 degrees above the horizon ( Read more... )

i would go to that depending on what time it starts...

if it starts after 6 i'd have to be at work.

hehe thats pretty cool that you caught it. my friend lucas and i once bonded when we noticed it one night drunk in high school (talk about nerdy). i was going to go to santa cruz on wednesday.. but you know what. fuck it. i need to hang before i take off.
