I forgot to mention I went to Fire Island on Sunday. I was a F.I. virgin until that fateful day. I think I like this beach more than Sandy Hook. What a lovely and affirming time I had. What I mean by affirming is I've been mired in body hatred. To be with a group of fat people of varying shapes and sizes lifted my spirits. And to bob in the waves,
