Thanks :) IDK if it's required by the law, Ned would never do it, but Stannis would. I guess war/revolution is a time when laws/rules just stop applying, maybe that's the point.

Maybe J/C deserve death for pushing Bran and killing babies, but if they could have carried out their adultery without harming anyone I'd say it'd be unjust for them to die from the modern perspective, but by the letter of the law in this time and place.
