No-one has come bursting into my home to survey the premises, no-one has come to poke their wands between the cushions of the chesterfield and root through the fireplace ashes. I'm currently in some dreadful housing block in Hackney, as well you know, and surrounded by other wizards, so I have nothing to fear from the Ministry Inspectors. However, my contract is almost up, and if I do not get my Kensington flat back I may have to Apparate back and forth from the mudpile back in Penrith. This is not ideal, but then again neither is living in some godforsaken housing block in Brixton. No, I think not, eh?

Basically, yes. I couldn't afford the rent before, not with what little assests I had been left after the trial and imprisonment and everything else.

You really should see these opal earrings, by the way. I know you don't wear earrings, but I think you, of all people, would appreciate their properties.

Oh, and the Sea Wolf came last night at midnight with icicles in his whiskers, so the wind must have been chilly and brisk.
