I have a bracelet with adventurine in it which was given to me by my grandmother when my mother was killed. There are spells in it for managing grief, as adventurine has healing and grounding qualities. Of course, one cannot wear the bracelet at all times. The feelings tend to build up to unhealthy amounts if one does that. But still, it's a ( Read more... )

I'll be back next week but I'm not sure for how long. What sort of timeframe were you thinking of for this project?

I can't give you a timeframe at the moment, I'm afraid. Many things are uncertain.

Is there anything I can do?

And I've been hearing the most interesting things lately on my travels. I've not really seen you to tell you, but people are whispering about the most oddest things. I don't know if it has anything to do with anything, just more babblings of maniacs as normal, but perhaps the information may lead you closer to finding out what happened to Malcolm. We can't in any good conscience let the death of a friend and a Pureblood pass without at least attempting to discover why, I suppose.

And don't be morbid, Tracey. I don't like it, especially when you are being morbid about yourself.

I just don't think the Aurors can investigate things so thoroughly as I. They didn't know Malcolm as I did. And I'm sorry to be morbid, I'm afraid it's the adventurine. Will I be seeing you this week-end? I'd very much like to hear what you have to say. And to simply see you, of course.

Of course. Come by any time today, I'll make some food. I've also finished the job for that last client of yours, so we can make it a business and social call and discuss any future work you might have for me. I've been feeling even more restless lately and the house feels very empty when you're not there so much when I am rattling around all the time.

Tracey, do you know of anything that will calm Cynthia down aside from a calming draught? Won't something end the ceaseless weeping?

Mass quantities of arsenic? Calming draughts wear off. Find something with adventurine, a bracelet or ring, and bring it to Gran. She can spell it for you proper.
