I've been happily enrolled in a trauma nursing course this Thursday and Friday, so that means my work schedule got changed a bit and I only have to work on Tuesday night and then a short shift (8 hrs) on Friday night, which happen to be the two nights M is working this week as well ( Read more... )

Exhausted. Sore. Content. Still reeling a bit. Had a positively fantastic time on all sorts of level. May try to write about this more in the coming week. :)

So we'll be heading to DO on Friday morning, staying in DC for the weekend. We're very much downtown, ~1 mile from the White House, the Capitol, and all things very-DC. M's 38th birthday was Friday. Had a few silly gifts for him, then started him off on a series of packages that carried on through the night. After that, there was a special book he wanted that set up some plans for the next few weeks and stuff to start talking about that night.
