I know, I know... twice in forever, Kates. Anyway, happy birthday to me (in 5 minutes, anyway). Maybe not quite so happy as it should be, but all the same. As I'm sure all of you who read this also read my sister's, I won't go into long painful detail about why this is not a great couple of days, but simply, my grandpa died late on Sunday night
